The Vukovar Water Tower is a cultural and historical memorial site and a symbol of the Homeland War, representing a place of reverence for the sacrifice of the City of Vukovar.
Visitors and users of the premises are kindly requested to respect the historical significance of the Vukovar Water Tower and its surrounding areas through their conduct.
The Vukovar Water Tower is not and must not be a place for political campaigning, hate speech, or discrimination on any grounds.
General Provisions
- These Rules apply to all visitors, facility users, media representatives, employees, and any other persons present within the area of the Vukovar Water Tower and its surrounding premises, regardless of the purpose of their visit (observation deck visit, walking, café visit, use of the children’s playground, etc.).
- The facility and public areas are under video surveillance for the safety and protection of visitors.
- Visitors are requested not to disturb public order, peace, or the safety of others and to refrain from any activities that could damage the reputation of the Vukovar Water Tower. Any conduct that disturbs public order and peace shall be considered a misdemeanour and may be reported to the competent authorities.
Safety and Order Within the Premises
- The staircase and elevator of the Vukovar Water Tower are used at one’s own risk.
- The following are prohibited:
– unauthorised audio or video recording of multimedia content displayed on screens;
– bringing and consuming food and beverages inside the Vukovar Water Tower;
– smoking, bringing weapons, and bringing pets (except assistance dogs);
– disturbing public order and peace or damaging the reputation of the Vukovar Water Tower.
Children and the Children’s Playground
- Children and minors may move about and use the premises only under the supervision of a parent, guardian, educator, or another responsible adult.
- Children are not permitted to jump inside the elevator or open the elevator doors.
- Playground equipment is intended exclusively for children aged 3 to 12.
- Destruction, damage, or improper use of playground equipment and facilities is strictly prohibited.
- Pets are not permitted in the children’s playground area for the safety of children.
- Parents and accompanying adults are responsible for the safety of children and for any damage caused by them.
Assistance Dogs
- Entry is permitted to:
– a user of an assistance dog;
– a candidate for the use of an assistance dog;
– a handler of an assistance dog;
– a candidate for an assistance dog handler;
– a socialiser of an assistance dog and a professional instructor accompanied by an assistance dog. - Entry is permitted only upon presentation of a valid official identification card.
Parking and Public Areas
- The parking area and public surfaces shall be used in accordance with the Rules on the Use of Public Areas and Parking Facilities.
- Unauthorised parking, prolonged parking, or damaging public areas is prohibited.
Lost and Found
- Any found items should be handed over to the staff at the ticket office of the Vukovar Water Tower.
- Lost personal belongings may be reported at the ticket office.
Liability and Supervision
- Visitors and users access the Vukovar Water Tower and its surrounding premises at their own risk.
- All visitors and users are required to immediately report any violation of these Rules, property damage, or safety concerns to an authorised representative of the Company.
- In the event of repeated or particularly serious violations of these Rules, the Company may:
– remove the person from the premises;
– notify the competent authority or police;
– file a misdemeanour report.
